This little piece is available in various Art-o-Mat vending machines around the U.S., including the one at SPACE Gallery in Portland, Maine. It is one in a series of drawings of buildings and locations in a fictitious seaport town.

Melinda I am so floored by these beautiful drawings. They make my mind race and my mouth turns up at the corners when I look at them. They also make me feel very calm. Everything seems okay when I look at them. Thank you.

I'm so impressed with your work, Melinda! I especially love the drawing of the highway and the billboard. I wished at that moment that I was actually driving down that highway! I'll visit your website often. Miss you!

Melinda,
I so enjoyed browsing through your work. I have many favorites, but especially like "You smell like sorrow", the blonde girl with her hair blowing, the coat with burn marks, and the mouse skirt. I'll be back.

I love your work, for the specificity and the mystery. The piece with van, chair & ice-chest is especially evocative for me.

Melinda. I sent an e-mail before when I first got the website because I didn't see the comments place. Tiny is profound. Also love the campsite with the Marcus-like cooler--like a memory of a dream of something familiar. And I got my first Whitney newsletter, and see that there is a new exhibition on Nov. 10--I think it is new, anyway.
